Decatur City is a United States city located in the DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. In 2000, the population was 18147. Its population was estimated at 18986 in July 2008, It is the 42nd largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.18 sq mi (10.83 sq km), making it Georgia's 198th largest by total area.
