According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the De Soto Village is home to 366 inhabitants. The city comprises an area of 1.38 sq mi (3.57 kmē), of which, 1.29 square miles (3.34 kmē) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 kmē) of it is water, it is the 402nd largest in terms of geographical size.
