De Ridder City is a city in the Beauregard Parish and Vernon Parish counties, Louisiana, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 9808 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 10008 in July 2008, It is the 57th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 8.54 square miles (22.12 square kilometre ), of which, 8.49 square miles (21.99 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 63rd largest by total area among Louisiana.
