De Kalb City is a city located in Bowie County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1769 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1805, It is the 693rd most populous in the U.S. state of Texas. It has total area of 1.31 sq mi (3.39 sq km), it is the 417th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
