As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 5012, It is 422nd most populous in Florida. The city spans an area of 11.24 miē (29.11 kmē), of which, 10.97 square miles (28.41 kmē) of it is land and 0.28 square miles (0.73 kmē) of it is water, making it Florida's 163rd largest by total area.
