Daytona Beach Shores City is one of the city of Volusia County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the city was 4299 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 5134, giving it the 464th largest population among Florida. It has total area of 0.94 square miles (2.43 kmē), of which, 0.91 square miles (2.36 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 141st smallest by total area among Florida.
