Dayton City is a city located in the Columbia County, Washington, United States. In 2000, the population was 2655. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2617, It is the 237th most populous in the U.S. state of Washington. The city has a total area of 1.47 mi˛ (3.81 sq km), it is the 161st smallest in terms of geographical size.
