Dayton City is a city located in the Campbell County, Kentucky, United States. In 2000, city's population was 5966 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 5453, giving it the 76th largest population among Kentucky. Its area is just over 1.66 square miles (4.3 sq km), of which, 1.33 square miles (3.44 sq km) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 sq km) of it is water, making it Kentucky's 204th largest by total area.
