Daviston Town is one of the town of Tallapoosa County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The town has a population of 267 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 258, making it Alabama's 74th smallest. Its area is just over 9.18 sq mi (23.78 sq km), of which, 9.17 square miles (23.75 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 144th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 267 residents, 109 households, and 75 families in the town. The population density was 29.1 people per square mile (11.24/kmē), it is the third least populated town in terms of population density.
