The county extends throughout a territory of 436.86 miē (1131.46 kmē ), of which, 430.66 square miles (1115.4 kmē) of it is land and 6.2 square miles (16.06 kmē) of it is water, it is the 26th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.
