David City City is one of the city of Butler County, Nebraska, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2597. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2474, making it the 49th most populous in Nebraska. Its area is just over 1.51 square miles (3.91 kmē), giving it the 59th largest by total area among Nebraska.
