Dardanelle City is a city located in the Yell County, Arkansas, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 4228 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 4435, giving it the 71st largest population among Arkansas. It is spread over 3.06 mi˛ (7.93 square kilometre), making it Arkansas's 170th largest by total area.
