It is 55th most populous in Massachusetts. It covers total area of 14.09 square miles (36.49 square kilometre), of which, 13.28 square miles (34.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.81 square miles (2.1 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 39th largest by size in Massachusetts.
