Danielson Borough is a one of the Windham County, Connecticut, located in Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. The population of the borough was 4265 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 4310, It is the 58th largest in terms of population. It is spread over 1.22 sq mi (3.16 square kilometre), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.85 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Connecticut's 11th smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4265 people in the borough, organized into 1699 households, and 1030 families residing in the borough. The population density was 3860.7 people per square mile (1490.62/kmē), it is the 11th most populated borough in terms of population density. There were 1859 housing units at an average density of 1690 per square mile (652.51/kmē). The average household size was 2.45 persons, and the average family size was 3.01 persons. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 27.2% under the age of 18, 10.8% from 18 to 24, 32.8% from 25 to 44, 18.6% from 45 to 64, and 10.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90 males. The median age was 32.2 years, The median age of males and females living in Danielson Borough was 31.3 and 33.1 years respectively. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 89.4% White, 2.63% Black or African American, 0.61% American Indian, 2.74% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 2.79% from two or more races and 1.83% Other races.
