Danbury City is a city located in Brazoria County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1611. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1684, giving it the 738th largest population among Texas. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.96 sq mi (2.49 square kilometre ), it is the 269th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
