Danbury City is a United States city located in the Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Danbury City is home to 74848 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 79256 in July 2008, It is seventh most populous in Connecticut. It is spread over 44.3 mi˛ (114.74 square kilometre), of which, 42.11 square miles (109.06 square kilometre ) of it is land and 2.19 square miles (5.67 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the second largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in Connecticut.
