Dallas County is a county located in the United States of Arkansas. The county has a population of 9210 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 8144 in July 2008, making it Arkansas's fifth smallest county. The county has a total area of 668.16 square miles (1730.53 kmē), of which, 667.42 square miles (1728.61 kmē) of it is land and 0.74 square miles (1.92 kmē) of it is water, it is the 36th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas.

The population density was 13.8 people per square mile (5.33/kmē), it would be the sixth least densely populated county in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8144, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 56.26% White, 42.18% Black or African American, 0.32% American Indian, 0.44% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, and 0.8% from two or more races.
