Dade County is a United States county located in the United States of Missouri. In 2000, the population was 7923. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 7418, It is the 15th smallest in terms of population. The county has a total area of 506.3 square miles (1311.31 kmē), of which, 490.34 square miles (1269.97 kmē) of it is land and 15.96 square miles (41.34 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 31st smallest by total area among Missouri's county.

The population density was 16.2 people per square mile (6.25/kmē), making it the 25th least densely populated county in Missouri. There were 3758 housing units at an average density of 7.7 per square mile (2.97/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.44 persons, and the average family size was 2.93 persons. In the county the population was spread out, with 24.3% under the age of 18, 6.8% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 20.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 104.3 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 108.2 females. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 7418, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 7182 White, 45 Black or African American, 59 American Indian, 21 Asian, 4 Native Hawaiian, and 107 from two or more races.
