Cypress City is a city in the Orange County, California, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Cypress City is home to 46229 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 47123 in July 2008, giving it the 167th largest population among California. The city has a total area of 6.62 mi˛ (17.15 sq km), of which, 6.61 square miles (17.12 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 450th largest by total area in California.
