Cushing City is one of the city of Payne County, Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Cushing City is home to 8371 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 8767, making it Oklahoma's 46th largest. It covers total area of 7.64 mi˛ (19.79 square kilometre), of which, 7.64 square miles (19.79 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Oklahoma's 138th largest by total area.
