Cumming City, Forsyth County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 4220 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 5719, It is the 148th largest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city has a total area of 5.9 square miles (15.28 sq km), of which, 5.89 square miles (15.26 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it the 141st largest by size in Georgia.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 4220 people, 1427 households, and 961 families living in the city. The population density was 717.1 people per square mile (276.87/kmē), it is Georgia's 227th most densely populated city. There were 1507 housing units at an average density of 255.9 per square mile (98.8/kmē). The average household size was 2.66 persons, and the average family size was 3.11 persons. In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 22.7% under the age of 18, 10.9% from 18 to 24, 31.7% from 25 to 44, 16.6% from 45 to 64, and 18.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.9 males. The median age was 34.5 years, the median age of male residents at 30.8 and the median age of female residents at 39.5. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 3776 White, 85 Black or African American, 13 American Indian, 11 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 95 from two or more races and 240 Ohter races.
