Cumberland Town, Indiana is a town of the Marion and Hancock counties, Indiana, United States. As of 2000 the population was 5500. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 5580, It is the 113th most populous in the U.S. state of Indiana. The town has a total area of 1.93 miē (5 kmē), of which, 1.89 square miles (4.9 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 184th largest in terms of geographical size.
