Cumberland County is a county in the United States of Tennessee. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Cumberland County is home to 46802 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 53590, giving it the 25th largest population among Tennessee's county. The county spans an area of 684.95 square miles (1774.01 sq km), of which, 681.61 square miles (1765.36 sq km) of it is land and 3.34 square miles (8.65 sq km) of it is water, making it the fourth largest by size in Tennessee.
