Culver City City is a one of the Los Angeles County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 38816 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 38580, It is the 196th most populous in the U.S. state of California. The city spans an area of 5.13 square miles (13.29 kmē), of which, 5.11 square miles (13.23 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 530th largest by total area in California.

As of the census of 2000, there were 38816 people in the city, organized into 16611 households, and 9513 families living in the city. The population density was 7589.8 people per square mile (2930.44/kmē), it is 98th most densely populated city in California.
