Culpeper Town, Culpeper County, Virginia is a town located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 9664. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 13977, It is the 81st largest by population in the U.S. state of Virginia. The town has a total area of 6.76 square miles (17.51 sq km), of which, 6.73 square miles (17.43 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 117th largest by total area among Virginia.

As of the census of 2000, there were 9664 residents, 3933 households, and 2444 families in the town. The population density was 1436.2 people per square mile (554.52/kmē), it is 115th most densely populated town in Virginia.
