Cuero City is a United States city located in the DeWitt County, Texas, United States. The population of the city was 6571 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 6417, It is the 278th largest by population in the U.S. state of Texas. It covers total area of 4.95 sq mi (12.82 sq km), of which, 4.94 square miles (12.79 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 429th largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
