Crisp County is a United States county located in the United States of Georgia. Crisp County had an official population of 21996 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 22162, It is the 81st largest in terms of population. The county comprises an area of 281.2 mi˛ (728.3 sq km), of which, 273.82 square miles (709.19 sq km) of it is land and 7.38 square miles (19.11 sq km) of it is water, it is the 50th smallest in terms of geographical size.

Its population was estimated at 22162 in July 2008, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 54.29% White, 43.42% Black or African American, 0.21% American Indian, 1.24% Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian, and 0.75% from two or more races.
