Crisfield City is a city in the Somerset County, Maryland, United States. Crisfield City had an official population of 2723 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2749, making it the 214th most populous in Maryland. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.02 sq mi (7.82 square kilometre ), of which, 1.63 square miles (4.22 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.4 square miles (3.63 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 186th largest by total area among Maryland.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2723 residents, 1172 households, and 723 families in the city. The population density was 1674.9 people per square mile (646.68/kmē), it is 193rd most densely populated city in Maryland. There were 1357 housing units at an average density of 832.5 per square mile (321.43/kmē). The average household size was 2.3 persons, and the average family size was 2.92 persons. The racial makeup of the city was 1594 White, 1020 Black or African American, 11 American Indian, 14 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 73 from two or more races and 10 Ohter races.
