Crete City is a city located in the Saline County, Nebraska, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 6028 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 6241, It is the 30th largest in terms of population. It is spread over 2.37 sq mi (6.14 kmē), it is the 37th largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
