Crenshaw Town is a one of the Panola and Quitman counties, Mississippi, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 916. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 910, making it Mississippi's 189th largest. Its area is just over 0.41 square miles (1.06 square kilometre), giving it the 15th smallest by total area among Mississippi.

As of the census of 2000, there were 916 people, 339 households, and 244 families residing in the town. The population density was 2213 people per square mile (854.44/kmē), it is the tenth most populated town in terms of population density. There were 385 housing units at an average density of 939 per square mile (362.55/kmē). The average household size was 2.7 persons, and the average family size was 3.23 persons. The population's age distribution was 30.6% under the age of 18, 9.7% from 18 to 24, 26.6% from 25 to 44, 20.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 89.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 81.7 males. The median age was 31.9 years, the median age of male residents at 29.3 and the median age of female residents at 35.6. The racial makeup of the town was 255 White, 655 Black or African American, 5 American Indian, 1 Asian, Native Hawaiian, from two or more races and Ohter races.
