Creek County, Oklahoma is a county of the United States of Oklahoma. The population of the county was 67367 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 69822, It is the ninth most populous county in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The county spans an area of 969.77 sq mi (2511.69 sq km), of which, 955.53 square miles (2474.81 sq km) of it is land and 14.23 square miles (36.86 sq km) of it is water, it is the 24th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 67367 people, 25289 households, and 19024 families living in the county. The population density was 70.5 people per square mile (27.22/kmē), it is Oklahoma's 12th most densely populated county. There were 27986 housing units at an average density of 29.3 per square mile (11.31/kmē). The average household size was 2.64 people, and the average family size was 3.06 people. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 27.4% under the age of 18, 8% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 24.5% from 45 to 64, and 12.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.9 males. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 69822, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 57663 White, 1842 Black or African American, 6380 American Indian, 230 Asian, 27 Native Hawaiian, and 3680 from two or more races.
