Crawford County is a United States county located in the United States of Georgia. In 2000, county's population was 12495 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 12510 in July 2008, giving it the 46th smallest population among Georgia's county. It has total area of 326.45 sq mi (845.5 kmē), of which, 325.01 square miles (841.77 kmē) of it is land and 1.45 square miles (3.76 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 92nd largest by total area in Georgia.

For every 100 females there were 100.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.6 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 12510, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 76.17% White, 22.21% Black or African American, 0.41% American Indian, 0.16% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 1.03% from two or more races.
