Crane City is a city in the Stone County, Missouri, United States. As of 2000 the population was 1390. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1375, It is the 307th largest by population in the U.S. state of Missouri. Its area is just over 1.47 square miles (3.81 kmē), it is the 309th largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.
