Cranbury Cdp is a census designated place located in Middlesex County, New Jersey, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2008 inhabitants. It is 92nd least populous in New Jersey. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the census designated place has a total area of 1.25 mi˛ (3.24 sq km), of which, 1.24 square miles (3.21 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 118th smallest by total area.
