Cowpens Town is a United States town located in the Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2279. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2413, It is 159th most populous in South Carolina. It covers total area of 2.33 sq mi (6.03 square kilometre), it is the 224th largest by area in the U.S. state of South Carolina.
