Coweta City, Wagoner County, Oklahoma is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Coweta City is home to 7139 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 9096, It is Oklahoma's 52nd largest by population . The city has a total area of 7.7 mi˛ (19.94 square kilometre), of which, 7.58 square miles (19.63 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 135th largest by total area among Oklahoma.
