Cowen Town is a one of the Webster County, West Virginia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 513. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 486, giving it the 72nd smallest population among West Virginia. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.63 mi˛ (1.63 square kilometre), making it the 186th largest by size in West Virginia.
