Coward Town is a United States town located in the Florence County, South Carolina, United States. In 2000, town's population was 650 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 676, It is the 112th least populous in the U.S. state of South Carolina. The town extends throughout a territory of 3.43 miē (8.88 kmē ), of which, 3.42 square miles (8.86 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 167th largest by area in the U.S. state of South Carolina.

The population density was 189.9 people per square mile (73.32/kmē), it is South Carolina's 59th least densely populated town.
