Cosmos City is a United States city located in the Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. The city has a population of 582 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 555, making it Minnesota's 456th largest. The city spans an area of 1.14 sq mi (2.95 square kilometre), of which, 1.12 square miles (2.9 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 457th largest by total area in Minnesota.
