Cortland West Cdp is a census designated place located in Cortland County, New York, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 1345 people (2000 census). It is the 335th least populous in the U.S. state of New York. Its area is just over 5.21 mi˛ (13.49 sq km), makes it the 185th largest by total area in New York.
