Corning City, New York is a city of the Steuben County, New York, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Corning City is home to 10842 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 10281, making it the 173rd most populous in New York. The city comprises an area of 3.28 mi˛ (8.5 square kilometre), of which, 3.11 square miles (8.05 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is water, making it New York's 348th largest by total area.
