Corning City is one of the city of Clay County, Arkansas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 3679 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 3308 in July 2008, making it the 82nd most populous in Arkansas. It is spread over 3.23 sq mi (8.37 sq km), of which, 3.2 square miles (8.29 sq km ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, making it Arkansas's 162nd largest by total area.
