Cornelius City is one of the city of Washington County, Oregon, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 9652 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 11464, It is 52nd most populous in Oregon. The city spans an area of 1.89 square miles (4.9 square kilometre), making it Oregon's 134th largest by total area.

The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 68.61% White, 0.76% Black or African American, 1.24% American Indian, 1.04% Asian, 0.28% Native Hawaiian, 3.76% from two or more races and 24.32% Other races.
