Coos Bay City, Coos County, Oregon is a city located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The city has a population of 15374 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 15665, giving it the 32nd largest population among Oregon. The city spans an area of 15.93 square miles (41.26 sq km), of which, 10.59 square miles (27.43 sq km) of it is land and 5.34 square miles (13.83 sq km) of it is water, making it Oregon's 16th largest by total area. It is ranks second in the size of its inland waterways in Oregon.
