Cooperstown Village is a city located in the Otsego County, New York, United States. It is home to over 2032 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1898, It is the 586th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 1.58 miē (4.09 kmē), of which, 1.54 square miles (3.99 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, making it the 629th largest by size in New York.
