Coon Rapids City is a city located in the Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. It is home to over 61607 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 61832, making it Minnesota's ninth largest. It has total area of 23.34 mi˛ (60.45 sq km), of which, 22.67 square miles (58.72 sq km) of it is land and 0.67 square miles (1.74 sq km) of it is water, making it the 57th largest by size in Minnesota.
