Conway Town is a one of the Northampton County, North Carolina, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 734 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 665, making it North Carolina's 212th smallest. It covers total area of 1.81 mi˛ (4.69 square kilometre), it is the 400th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 734 residents, 328 households, and 205 families in the town. The population density was 406 people per square mile (156.76/km˛), giving it the 178th least densely populated town among the North Carolina. There were 356 housing units at an average density of 196.7 per square mile (75.95/km˛). The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.88.
