Conneaut City, Ohio is a city of the Ashtabula County, Ohio, United States. Conneaut City had an official population of 12485 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 12355, making it Ohio's 142nd largest. The city spans an area of 26.43 sq mi (68.45 kmē), of which, 26.37 square miles (68.3 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, it is the 14th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
