Conecuh County, Alabama is a county located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Conecuh County had an official population of 14089 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 13066, It is the seventh smallest in terms of population. The county encompasses an area of 852.51 square miles (2207.99 kmē ), of which, 850.79 square miles (2203.54 kmē) of it is land and 1.71 square miles (4.43 kmē) of it is water, making it Alabama's 18th largest county by total area.

In the county the population was spread out, with 25.9% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 15.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 111.3 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 118.7 females. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 13066, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 55.66% White, 43.14% Black or African American, 0.27% American Indian, 0.12% Asian, 0.05% Native Hawaiian, and 0.75% from two or more races.
