Commerce City, Ottawa County, Oklahoma is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 2645. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2506, It is the 121st largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.82 square miles (2.12 sq km ), giving it the 410th largest by total area among Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2645 people in the city, organized into 968 households, and 693 families residing in the city. The population density was 3232.2 people per square mile (1247.96/kmē), it is fourth most densely populated city in Oklahoma. There were 1079 housing units at an average density of 1315.9 per square mile (508.07/kmē). The average household size was 2.65 persons, and the average family size was 3.18 persons. The population's age distribution was 29.7% under the age of 18, 10.7% from 18 to 24, 26% from 25 to 44, 18.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 90 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.5 males. The median age of the city's population was 31.9 years, the median age of male residents at 29.6 and the median age of female residents at 34.2. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 1800 White, 17 Black or African American, 353 American Indian, 5 Asian, 3 Native Hawaiian, 158 from two or more races and 309 Ohter races.
